Good post wheelinround, good to see how others do it... but why he's pissing around with glue guns and nail chucks(:o) when he's already got a "proper" chuck, (see picture 2) only he knows!!!!:roll::?

I was thinkin' the same thing, Richard... I've used hot glue before, and it doesn't work as well as I want it to. I didn't use the industrial stuff, tho.
He's got a perfectly good chuck... should use it and forget about the bed of nails thing. But I guess if you made a groove, and then.... aw forget it.

Beats the hell out of me, good observation tho' :? I muck around with a fair bit of stuff from time to time But dunno about nail chucks

that nail chuck looks downright medieval , maybe it fell off Leonardo da Vinci's lathe .
