here is a photo of my first relief carving.
the pattern was a freeby from carving patterns.com
the timber used is blackbutt
the border has been pyrotooled (hot wire) to look like rope
the eyes are fake rubies
the finish is a brushable gloss polyurethane (single pac) from mirotone i recieved as a sample
all this project cost was my time
it pays to collect whatever you may need one day
