Laminate

Hi allA few times I have laminated timber to make carving pieces.Both for in the round and releif carving.Instead of getting a invisable line I always finish up with a glue line that is black

Is there a special glue to use or am I applying the PVA gluewith the wrong method.

Some help would be appreciated.

It seems to also depend a bit on what timber you're using. I've recently been using AV140 from AV Syntec on Tassy Oak with no line problems the I used to get with Aquadhere on this timber.
