Hi, I'm looking for some plans to make a 'murphy' bed, hide a bed or similar. One that looks like a wardrobe when not being used.

There are quite a few plans out there but what you really need to do first is acquire the hardware.
You can buy the hardware from Hafele (http://www.hafele.com.au) in Australia. I have no idea what it costs but there is quite a selection of hardware so choose carefully.
