How accurate is it vs. a band saw?
How much does it take away with a cut?
How much do they usually cost?:P

1. mitre saw or drop saw
2. the good ones are very accruate. Mine is a Makita and it is great. A band saw is not best known for its accurate cuts.
3. 3 to 4 mm
4. How much do you have? $400, $500, ... $1,000.
