I got a lot of info from the last thread about options for cutting panels. Thanks to all that posted.

My new question is:

I have had a look at Carbatec in VIC and they have a range of table saws.

I am interested to look at others e.g. JET.

Anyone know of the best stores who hold a range of table saws (set up) to look at?

Hopefully, you can save me scanning the yellow pages and making lots of calls.

It would be nice to have more choice in Vic.

Both only offer a select range (which a lot is out of stock anyway).

Hey ChrisS,

Just got a Chrissy bonus, have money, need toys.

Did you ever buy a table saw? If you did, what did you get and where did you get it? You seem to have similar needs and budget that I have.

Thanks

I have not bought it yet just because I have had an extreemly busy time lately.

I am going to buy (90% sure) the Delta Contractor's Saw. This seems to be a little higher priced than others but the quality and high end fence make up for that (I think).

I have shot a few emails around but I don't think there are any in VIC. But I will probably call them again soon to order one.
