Can someone tell me where I can get parts for a Delta TP400LS thicknesser?
The nut on the end of the cutter head worked loose, made a hell of a mess:((

G'day Howdya,

Well here's the thicknesser in it's Grizzly colours http://www.grizzly.com/products/12-1-2-Planer/G0505 maybe an email to them to see if they can send you a part?

http://www.deltaportercable.com/ should enable you to identify the part and part no. I don't think the service centre is much good as they only list US suppliers but again an email might help.

Thanks for the reply's. I have emailed both and hopefully one might respond.
Interesting point - If you finally reach the Delta online service centre they state that Delta products are not sold outside North America :?

I once emailed Porter and Cable USA to enquire about the availability of a router and was told that Black and decker/Dewalt service agents are the agents for both Porter and cable and Delta in Australia; although I don't believe they carry specific stock.

Howdya,

Given what Felixe wrote above, if you can give me the part number there's a Dewalt service centre about 5 minutes drive from me.

Geez your a good bloke Waldo:2tsup:

Have sent a PM with the parts I need.

No overnight reply from Delta or Grizzly.

If I cant get the parts I just may HAVE TO buy a new one (http://www.carbatec.com.au/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=180_400_19276)

If you can't find some 'official' help, give Highland Hardware - http://www.highlandhardware.com/
an e-mail. They sell a pretty wide range of Delta gear, including a lot of accessories that I haven't seen elsewhere, and they MAY be able to get your parts if asked nicely. I've always found them to be extremely helpful.

I have a delta thicknesser that I bought from Carbatec in Melbourne. I have found that their Brisbane office can sometimes help with bits for it, but apparently Balck and Decker have taken Delta over and are really slack with shipping stuff. Give them a ring to see if they can help.

I bought a delta industrial 8" jointer a few years ago. It can be rewired to 220v from 110v. No instructions came with the jointer, so I asked delta if they would provide me with information on rewiring.
About a month or two later they sent me a message saying they I will have to contact dewalt:(
So I contact dewalt and ask them for the correct information, they reply saying they can no longer give the information on rewiring:((
All the other delta machines I have came with instructions on rewiring, and they are all on 220v except my jointer. I found their customer service to be quite terrible:-
