hey guys
wellp cus christmas is coming up i thought i may as well stock up on some tools for gifts lol so anyways i had an idea for a 2 tank compressor set up simmilar t the gmc one available i posted a thred a while back asking bout it and then funnily enouf gmc made one i reckon they copied my idea:p lol so anyways i saw one a super cheap for 159 with an air tool kit 2.5hp 40ltr the brand is air power anyone bought one? just wondeing if ther a pile of crap lol the only reason i chose that one is cus dad can get half price off stuff at super cheap auto:D

I had one and it was satisfactory (I used it for bradder, stapler and spray paint). The water drain at the bottom of the tank broke, they have since changed the drain and I took a "trade tools" drain in to "super cheap" to see if it can be used as a replacement and it can.

On of the big problems is that they super glue or use the super strength lock tight so if you have a leaky connection you can not take it apart to use thread tape.

It will not do a good job of running die grinder, air sanders and the like. Nail guns, air wrenches and spraying will be fine.

It is a good deal but you will spend money getting hose, connectors and other gadgets but you can always get those when the come on sale.

I have a 16cfm compressor, don't know what that is in litres but it is fine for everything except the random orbit sander that I have. It is best to get one that is belt driven, the direct drive one's seem to die with monotenous regularity. They sell them where I work and I get to see what get's returned dead.

ok thanks for the info guys the main reason im upgrading is to use and air powered orbital sander and my drill properly i hav a 30ltr 2hp gmc but is not that good, how much do ya reckon ill get a cheap belt driven one for? bearing in mind it wont cop to much use
