Just purchased a small tin of White Knight Rust Guard metal primer.

On the back of the tin, it says in the smallest of writing, application by brush or roller.:o

Can this paint be sprayed on? I want to use an air brush.

Can't seem to get into the White Knight web page for relevant info, so I'm relying on your help.

Regards,

Ken.

Most paints, especially primers can be sprayed, although an airbrush has a fairly fine tip and depending on how fine the dispersion of the pigments in the primer is, you could have tip clogging problems.

What solvent is recommended on the can for thinning and/or cleaning?

Big Shed,

The recommended solvent for clean-up or thinning, is White Knight solvent, or mineral turps.

Thanks for your advice, and anymore.

If it is only Mineral Turps you should be able to spray it, as I said before watch for clogging of the airbrush tip.
