As you may have seen in another post, my SCMS got swiped yesterday.... now.... as it was heading off to the great unknown, I was snorkelling around a wee reef just over the hill from my house and I happened to get my "bag" of rather nice Abalone!
What I would like are some methods/ recipes for preparing and cooking said shellfish as it would seem that given their apparent abundance I may be dining on said shellfish on a regular basis.
Have at it lads and lasses!
Please.:B

Use the shells for ashtrays.

Google "Abalone Recipe". :-

Sounds like you have a great life where you live, with the sea just over the hill. :2tsup:

Hi Christopha,
We used to dive for them near Esperance, and we beat them flat with a meat tenderiser (those spiky mallets), coat with seasoned flour and fry in butter.
In your case you could stuff them up the nostrils of the pr*ck who stole your saw, them lightly beat with sledge hammer:oo:.

Cheers,
