For any Canberra based Gifkin users, I was in Carbatec today and they have three boxes of templates on the discontinued mark down table. They said Gifkins was now focussing on direct sales and these templates were left over stock.

I wonder if any of the other branches are doing the same. Worth checking out.

Pusser,
I thought that the red ones are for the previous model of Gifkins jig and the templates for the current model are blue. Do the red templates also fit the current model as well?

Cheers

Don't know. I have the old model. I can only quote from the Gifkins website:
"

The new model Gifkins Jig is now made from aluminium, making it that
much sturdier and even more reliable. It also comes standard with a
second sliding stop, a great extra tool for those into boxmaking. The
template specifications remain the same"

I do not think there is any way of indicating whether you want templates for the new or old jigs on the Gifkins order form. You could always ask them.
