World temperature RECORDS

I found this interesting given the current climate with Global Warming. Its taking a long time to break some of the records displayed.

Interesting perhaps, but doesn't really mean that much unless it's averaged out (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temperature_record_of_the_past_1000_years).
