Anyone had trouble with their Triton Sander or GMC twin?
I bought one of these units about 2 months ago and have used the oscillating spindle max about 1/2 an hour since purchase and the oscillation failed.
Removal of the front panel revealed the lifting rod had fallen out of it's
crank. However far more worrying is the amount of wear showing on the vertical shaft helical gear after the 1/2 hour of use - I'll be lucky if it lasts a further 1/2 hour!! It appears not to be hardened - typical "Chinese Engineering".
Have requested a replacement gear so we shall see how good the warranty is.
I will post another thread regarding the time taken to get a replacement.
