This table, made of jarrah with an inlay of rock maple, is from a design by Philippe Brooks in Australian Wood Review #40.

The rails are joined to the legs by floating tenons. The mortices for these joints were all cut using my morticing jig (See Jigs forum). The legs had to be clamped in a carriage to hold them at 45 degrees whilst the angled mortice was being routed.

The grooves for the inlay were routed before the bevels were cut on the table saw. MDF fences were clamped to all four sides for routing the inlay grooves.
