I thought I better post some shots of my last project just to prove that I do actually work sometimes.

Its a playground for 0 -2 yr olds. The jetty is a linking device (design jargon) to divide the softfall area and the sandpit as well as leading to the garden area's beyond. Its all a bit raw at present but will look better when the plants grow.

BTW the piers are 350mm diameter so they're nice and chunky:)

Tidy work Bleedin,:2tsup:

Those piers are big suckers, how far in the ground are they?

The piers are about - 800 deep as far as we could get them by hand, They are only about 1.2m above ground - kids scale. The decking looks like its sitting at ground level, however there is a void underneath it so the joists won't rot and the piers are class 1 durability so should last a while.

Groggy the sandpit has a cover...an ongoing problem that......

I know, where's the asphalt!

The annoying thing is that we are desprately trying to get our youngest in a child care centre at the moment and the only ones around where we live have shocking playgrounds- Double sigh!

Most playgrounds these days are pre-fab jobbies that cost a bomb, and havent really got a lot of really exciting things for the kids to muck around on.

Looks good BT, functional and nice looking too

Thanks for the comments - the photo's make them look very sterile when theyre not.

Its just that I'm not allowed to take photos of my jobs when there are kids in them due to PC reasons.
