Hi Guys.
I am home today because of the heat and am having a bit of a clean up, well ok, the wife is..

I found 2 old 35mm SLR cameras that I havent used for ages and am wondering whats the best way to convert them to digital? :)

It shouldn't take too much. Firstly you'll an old scanner or an old Palm PDA.

Thanks Midge, but they are too bulky, I want to keep the integrity of the camera..

Mr Brickie, Sire, don't be misled by the rubbish above. This is a non-trivial analogue/digital conversion process. To upgrade the cameras you'll need a steady hand and some very tricky cables. The key is the connection between the on-camera flash terminal and the (hard to come by and might need to be fabricated) ADFI-96L (96pin Logical) output cable. Mr Dick Smith's branch offices would be a good starting point. There's other places but they aren't known to be very helpful.

I've still got 3 film SLRs.
I'm keeping them as they are, just so that my future children can have something to laugh at.
DSLRs are coming down in price so much, I reckon it would be cheaper just to buy new.

Cheers

You could try blending them

YouTube - Will It Blend? - iPhone

That should digitise them a fair bit

You can convert them very successfully with eBay.......

(Sell the old, buy new)
