Buffet Pics

Heres some picures of my latest creation.
About 1800 wide. All solid Jarrah except for the burl backings (MDF) and the wine rack (american oak).
Finnished with the ROB sander up to 400 grit then Shellac.
The burls took a bit of work but the results are worth it.
Love the finish of jarrah and shellac.

Having touble keeping the wine rack full, - bit like my bank account!

He...He... I didn't open the pic thought you attached by mistake, very inovative thats about 20 horses/inch pressure, Wild Dingo will be impressed.

Funny, the outboard was the seccond choice for a press. I first jacked the land cruiser up and attempted to lower it down on to the wood. Kept slippping around when the load was applied. No good at all.
I was sitting in the drive way thinking "what the f*k am i going to do now" as the two pack cure time was drawing to a close. I need hydraulics! Helloo boat motor. Perfect control with the trim switch. Worked a treat.

As for the design go for it, I got the design ideas from local furniture shops and internet sites!
I can measure it up/more pics if you need.
