Hi y'all, got carried away with another birdhouse.
This one is 7" (177.8mm)tall by 2.5" (63.5mm)wide.
Live Oak Burl roof, and Live Oak lower bungalow. Sanded to 600, polished with EEE, finished with Shellawax Cream. All comments welcome.

If I was sensitive I'd hang up the tools and sell the lathe on ebay
some people are just so much better at this then me

another work of art, well done:!

I'll just go and put in another couple of years practice shall I.

Thanks, y'all!! They are fun to create, and fine practice too.
Sawdust Maker....various chunks of wood, sharp tools, and much practice seems to be the kicker in woodturning, so just keep at.

Thanks LB and Wendy!!
I do believe, now that you mention it, that I can see a birdhouse near Toowoomba.:D
The base is just a branch cut in half (and polished), and a piece of brass brazing rod.
