The Victorian Woodworkers Association is inviting interested members of other woodwork clubs to join them at a meeting in Ballarat on Saturday March 20th 2004.
We will be meeting at the Ballarat Art Gallery 40 Lydiard Street North Ballarat, at 10:30AM to see the Furniture Collection , one of the finest collections of colonial and contemporary furniture collections in Australia.
After the Art Gallery we will visit Makers on Mair where John McLennon will give us a tour of his gallery. John is amongst the finest makers in Australia.
There will be a BBQ held at John's workshop followed by a quick look at his workshop.
The entry fee for the Art Gallery is $5 with discounts available for pensioners and students. Bring your own food for the BBQ.
This is an excellent opportunity for club members outside the VWA to meet members of the VWA and participate in this exciting club activity.
