Turned Coolibah Burl, 450mm diameter finished with Estapol.

Nice one Baz. Is the clock face turned in, or does the face extrude, I can't tell from the photo.

Hi Neil, the clock face is recessed about 10 - 12mm, gives the hands some protection.

That is a very smart piece of turning that turns a flat Burl wall clock into into something special.
I am not a fan of a movement stuck in a Burl but work like yours turns them into a nice clock.

Hi Artme, I am not a high gloss fan, I only use the spray on Estapol to help stick down the gold dots. I once used a burnishing oil before trying to stick on the numbers and found out they wouldn't stick.
