Every time I show the Missus a new turning she says "Why don't you make something usefull" so finally I did! Here's something that I turned recently out of good ol Sally Wattle. Seems I do a lot in Sally and Emu Apple cos that's what I have mostly. I worked with different offsets for the outside and the hollowing to leave the flat for mounting.

Remember the jobs not completed until the paper work is done

Your toilet must be bigger than mine. I've got enough trouble finding space for books and magazines ... never mind a lathe and chisels!

Because of your recent rains I must ask:

"Is it still above flood level"

Personally I'm not a sit 'n thinker but I bet many good ideas have been hatched in this small room by those who are, to be aired later on the forum.

ptc. I pre-drilled the holes and used a screwdriver bit in a small socket.

Allan from Wallan. I mounted this a good twelve feet above the last peak, so if the paper gets wet, we'll be hangin our buts off the roof with the rest of the town.
Thanks to all for all the input

I really like it, I think it has a modern look to it.
I may have to try making one.
