Bedside Tables

G'day All,

Here is one of a pair of tables I made for a mate. The timber is Black Wattle and the side panels are made of meat safe mesh.

It's hard stuff to work with... dulls planer blades and you need a SHARP hand plane. I used a HNT Grodon smoothing plane for the final finish.

But it's fairly common up in North Queensland where it grows like weeds :D

i like hard timbers and i only want to carve it
lucky i just sharpened all my chisels
i might have to visit trend timbers now
