Had first the intention to make a lidded bowl, but it warped a little bit, not a good sign for a nice fit of the lid, so than only a bowl, also nice.
Prunus is familiar with cherry, we call it ''steenkers''.
It's an inland woodspieces, grows in the province Limburg, and some other places. Got it from a good friend.
The DxH size of the bowl 7''x4'' (175mmx100mm)
Finished with three layers blanc transparent stain.
Thanks for looking.

Good one Mate. That is nicely proportioned and a lovely colour. Glad you didn't go for a really glossy finish!:2tsup::2tsup::2tsup:

Hi Ad, I like your Prunus (Cherry) bowl!!! Nice work.
Does your Prunus wood smell like Cherry when turned (ours does)?

It doesn't smell like cherry Gil, actually it has no smell at all. But it cracks as easely as cherry, luckely for me not any crack in this bowl, so I had this time real luck, pffffff.
