Just a quick question..

Does anyone know of a company in australia that produces ply drum shells? As in, just the shells themselves no bearing edges, no finish, no anything. Just the shells...

I've been on Drummakers.com looking around, I can buy Keller shells from there but thats in the US. So fairly sure it would cost an arm and a leg to ship them over here. Especially considering I'm planning on building an entire kit..

Any ideas welcome...Or even if anyone else has shipped shells from the US if i could get a cost estimate from that?

Thanks..

Check out www.deejaydrums.com.au
They custom make everything so I'm sure if you specified exactly what you want, they'd make it. Best drums I've ever heard too.

SoC,

As time allows I do make ply shells, however, I'm not currently set up to take orders, etc. Unless Deejay have changed, they were only making stave and segment shells, what I would suggest is that you attempt to contact Metro drums up Brisbane way as he makes his own ply shells and I'm fairly sure he will sell bare shells.
