Attaching mini-orb to metal frame

Hi,

I am putting in a large driveway gate, and have the steel post in and metal frame ready to go. We are using mini orb - the small corrugated iron stuff - and wanted to set it in a wooden frame.

Any thoughts on the best way to do this? Secure the mini orb to the metal frame, then just screw the wood on top, or perhaps rout a recess for the mini orb and attach timber to the frame?

Intertested to know how others have done it.
