The base I was aiming for something different myself but the Rose wood was dry as a bowl of flour in the desert.
It looks better in real life

Is it possible to reshape the outside with some more flowing lines?

A nibbles bowl
cracker and dip bowl dips go in the centre crackers round the out sided
Ok the rim of the outside was going to have patterns around it but as the Rosewood is so damn dry it would have ended up a disaster.
The lower section can be altered I have left a tenon to do so

Had already the thoughts by looking to the inside shape, that's something for the household.
Very nice, beautiful wood

Wheelin', it looks rich! Her Majesty knew what it was as soon as she saw the double bowl. Nice finish. Make it like you want it. Don't let these blokes intimidate you. :D They're only lovin' onya. :U
