I am about to embark on making a recessed panel entrance door, (4 panels), using some nice recently salvaged meranti boards 35mm thick.
I was wondering if any others have been through this exercise and can offer any advice so that I can avoid the pitfalls. Some plans would be good as I am starting from scratch.
I would appreciate any advice especially relating to routing the bevels and tounges on each door panel, mortice and tennon versus dowell joints, etc.
