Caitlyn first bud vase. Age 10

HI Guys
:Dthis is Caitlyn first attempt at a bud vase she has made this for her teacher. She would love to know what you think? The vase is made from a peice of timber from around the yard. Not sure of the wood. finished with shellawax. The vase is approximately 7 cm tall with a 10mm hole drilled down the centre
