I'm wary of aldi tools/electronics. I've bought a number of things and returned most in the past. Most didn't perform anywhere near adequately. I remember once I bought a set of hotplates. They couldn't even boil water. The thermal cutout would kick in. I thought I had a dud until I got a replacement and same deal. Back for a third and same thing again. Just an all round failure of a design like alot of other things I tried. Thankgod for the refund policy.

I'll pass this time round but if anyone buys the compressor or nail gun and can give an informed opinion I'd be interested in hearing it.

The one year warranty is crap too. You need to send it in to the agent yourself if it's past the refunds time limit.

I don't bother with Aldi anymore, there's no specials left when i go and this is on the first day of said specials, most likely already in the staff members cars and the token one for the public has been sold. Must need a job where I can sit out front of Aldi to get any of their sale items :D

Those prices arent anything special anyway. You can get those tools for those prices any day of the week from numerous online sources and even in some tool stores.

I dont bother ALDI anymore, bec I bought an DVD Burner, never works perfectly (still have it here but hardly use it) my father in law bought GPS and its a piece of sh*t and my Nokia N95 is way better than that one!.

Up to you, but I think you can do lot better!
