I'm as green as a new leaf but desperately looking for someone with a workshop who would be willing to spend a few hours a week teaching me the craft of fine furniture making.I live on the Northern beaches in Sydney and am looking for a daytime tutor.
I'm willing to pay for your time and use of the workshop.

If you dont have any luck try Mosman Community College (search via Google)
They have evening classes under the guidance of some pretty good teachers who will guide you through a project
Very good equipment and classmates also. M:F rationabout 2:1. M:F skill ratio about 1:2
Cheers
