Hi,

I don't know whether to post this in the power tool forum or the hand tool one... One of the current deals at ALDI (22-28 May) is a 'Multi Function (http://www.aldi.com.au/au/html/offers/2827_5080.htm)' saw.

First function is a jigsaw. Ok, check.
Second function is a Reciprocating Saw. fine on that one too
Third function is "without power as a Hacksaw"... ???

How does this work? Can we list it as a screw driver as well 'cos the blade fits into a slot screw head? How about calling it a hammer when the #$!#$% thing burns out after 2 weeks and you throw it through the wall!

At least their marketing department is working hard...

I've attached a PDF of the advert if the website link expires.

BTW, I did buy one of those 'multi-function' dust extraction units for $99. apparently it also serves as an axle stand 'without power' :U

Cheers,
Dave

I just got one of the dust extraction ones too!
It can be used as a flower pot holder without the top on, and the suction hose as a pipe too! :)
