Today I took the yoot out to DJ's and we fired up the Lucas Mill. Here's a few pics of the "firewood": ash and poplar from this thread (http://www.woodworkforums.com/showthread.php?t=72555).

It took DJ a few hours to get the wood cut, later in the afternoon the temperature changed and mist moved in.

(BTW, what is it with dogs and cameras?)

Had a ball, love going out to the bush for a day, and DJ's place should be a woodie's shrine.

Thanks for doing all the work DJ, much appreciated mate.

DJ, we forgot to slice that spalted log up

Some nice shots there Groggy, love the one looking across the sawn timber on the yoot towards me milling :2tsup:

Have you sealed all the ends yet?

Have you sealed all the ends yet?All ends are sealed, I'll try to find somewhere to stack it tomorrow. If you want any pics let me know and I'll email 'em to you (large size about 1.3mb each).

With all that beautiful timber laying about, it's more like heaven. :2tsup:
