shaping mdf

What a great message board. Congrats!
I've been trying to make some mdf boxes with lids that curve....can anyone tell me how to bend the thin mdf?
Have tried to wet it, but is there a special type of mdf that is used for this method?

Judy, Ihave seen MDF bent and if I remember rightly it was wet down and placed in a mould and then pressed. If you email me I will give you the companies name (they are approachable).
