Bella’s Meatloaf

250g minced beef
250g sausage meat
2 eggs
2 rashers of bacon finely diced
½ cup cooked rice
½ cup Eucanubra
1 carrot
1 piece of pumpkin

Grate the carrot and pumpkin, in a bowl mix all ingredients together with ½ teaspoon of salt. Bake in a meatloaf dish at 150 deg C for about 1 hour. Turn out and when cold your dog will love it.

Sounds great, but what is eucanubra? An old trick for presentation, is to lay boiled eggs (peeled) along the length of the meat loaf so that it is in the middle. When you slice it, a ring of boiled egg should appear dead centre.

:D Well you caught me on that one mate! A lot of trouble to feed a dog but she looks like she's worth it. Some cooked rice in that meatloaf will make it spin out, and do the pup good as well. No potato for doggies though.
