here are a coupla jigs i made today.

the first is a pen blank drilling jig pretty standard equipment.

the second is an adjustable fingerjoint jug for the router table. all the ones i have see have been fixed to cut a set sized pin but i wanted sompthing i could use with diferant sized bits to a chive diferent and varying joints for each project. i just losen the screws and slide the stop to adjust the pin width.

I am going to use your idea of the sliding pin but I will make several sliding pieces with pins different sizes:2tsup::2tsup::2tsup:

i thaught of doing that but then there is no reson to hev it sliding as you could just have them set for the sizes. i just have to make sure i push it hard against the side of the pin.:2tsup:
