My latest set of 5 to 6 boxes requires my usual strip design lids.

Could someone please tell me what width each strip should be? (had to add some extra on the first box)

155mm across the two short sides, it does require the long side to have a 2mm strip to start and six further equal sized strips.

(Box is 155mm square)

Not sure what the short and long sides are on a square.

The diagonal on a 155mm square box will be 219.2mm.
So 2mm strip plus six times 36.2mm wide strips

Just in case the picture is showing that you are trying to achieve a triangular lid. Then 2mm plus six times 18.1mm strips (109.6mm which is half the diagonal of the square)

Thanks Alamn, The second answer was the one I needed.

Its a long time since I did any maths (at school) and never needed this stuff until the last 4 years.

Thinking, I only want the one 2mm strip (centre) so Is that another .3mm one each strip?

I just read again your last question. No, 18.1mm strips already accounts for only one 2mm strip in the middle, that is 1mm each side of the centre. Sorry if you read my unedited post.
