My mailman is starting to wonder if I'm getting something he should
know about .. I keep getting packages from OZ!

Got a nice looking polo shirt today .. U-beaut logo and my name on it!
(must have ordered wrong, though.. I never wear polos!)

And a whopping big package of blanks! BEAUTIFUL timbers! If I could
get away with it, I'd skip work tomorrow and go turn!

and a gorgeous Fiddleback Blackwood cigar pen. (some sort of upscale
cigar pen, that's for sure..)

and now I know firsthand what a CA finish SHOULD look like..

Forgot to mention that the Black Sheoak will probably be a bit green still :doh:, so you may want to leave those ones for a couple of months before hacking into them :2tsup:

Oh yes .. lucky is right! I can't decide what to turn next!
The yellowbox is gorgeous. and the myrtle, too.. good eyes see
alike, I guess.. my eyes went right to those two first. Everything
looks promising.. and that's depressing because now I have nothing
to blame a bad pen on ...:p

Yeah.. and I finally figured out how to see what I got from the last
pen swap, too! (these eyes are NO GOOD!)
I scan the blanks, then zoom in on them in Photoshop .. and then I
can read what's written on them! WOOHOO!!!!

I got blanks for ages... I must have 2 or 3 dozen blanks from
"Down Under" .. tons of burls, too! and sheoaks..
just need to go out and buy some more kits!!
