specialist 19th July 2008, 03:48 PM :2tsup:Nice, I like.
But then I always have been partial to panel doors.:B
It is an interesting way the you have set out the door arches, it's quite effective.

SAISAY 19th July 2008, 04:01 PM Thank you, I designed them myself.
There are actually 5 drawers behing the panels but they are only attached to the bottom amd the middle ones. You pull the panelled ones out to open the others

Ron Dunn 19th July 2008, 06:07 PM Can you swap doors 1 and 4? The grain might flow more evenly across the top rails.
Nothing serious, might also be the angle and lighting of the camera.
How do you intend to finish these doors?
SAISAY 19th July 2008, 06:41 PM Doors have been finished with Country Oil from Dale Glass Industries.
Can't swap doors as they are different width and middle door are actually drawers.
Had to work with whatever timber was available.
Not too many choices out here in the boonies.

johnhalse38 19th July 2008, 10:40 PM Very impressive.
fyi Danny Prolux puts out an excellent book for kitchen cabinetry design which i've used. Its been a year since the carcass/draws etc went in and i haven't got the fronts done yet but the carcass's work a treat.
That's an impressive pair of safety boots that your TA is wearing!!!

Batpig 21st July 2008, 09:47 PM Dear Wolffie,
Not too shabby at all! You're obviously keeping yourself out of mischief...
Just by the by, you seem to be running out of benchtop space... (it might help if you ditch that Coffee Pot - :D)
Best Wishes,
Batpig.
SAISAY 24th July 2008, 08:32 AM I just took some pictures to show how we are making the doors for the wall units. This one is for the corner cabinet and the straight ones will be in the style of the floor cab doors but with the glass insert in all of them.
The white stuff is masking tape to protect the glass while we do the finishing touches.
