Got a bad case of tool rest elbow today when the sandpaper caught while sanding the inside of a box and I had not moveed the tool rest far enough out of the way.
Might want to watch for that if anyone is as unattentive as I am.:doh::no:

I always remove the toolrest if I have to sand something, always take the needed time, never in a hurry, tomorrow another day.

I always move the tool rest well out of the way, take the tailstock to the very end of the bed and remove the live centre. Those pointy little buggers hurt like hell when thumped with the elbow:((

Okay Shorty, you did the right things, only hurting your elbow on the live center is not so nice, that's a real accident, I hope with you the injury is not too bad.
