Newcastle Camphor laurel

Hi, I am looking for some camphor laurel logs suitable for making bowls ,I only started this woodturning at christmas and it reall has got me in.
Anywhere within 50klm of Newcastle would be appreciated.

Hi Steve,
my recommendation would be to contact the Woodturners of the Hunter as I know they have a ship (ping container) load of the Camphor in all shapes and sizes. Go down to the clubhouse on a saturday morning about 9:30 at the Newcastle Showgrounds ( entrance off Griffith Road). You'll be amazed!!:o
