Gatto plan
I have just received from the States a set of plans from Gatto plans, it’s a model of 1930 Buffalo fire truck although the plans are very well detailed the instructions are in 8 point, making them very hard to see, I was a little disappointed with this.
They are also not to any scale unlike the plans from Toys and Joys which are scaled to the full size finished model and all you have do is trace off them making construction a lot easer.
One good thing about Gatto plans is that you don’t have to get any wheels or extra pieces like the Toys and Joys plans and there is detailed drawings of how to make the wheels there is a lot more work and over all detail in the finish model compared with the plan of 1933 Seagrave fire tuck from Toys and Joys which I am about to start in a month or so there is no email address to contact Gatto Plans which I did not realise till after I purchased the plans also there is no confirmation of your order it will be a while before I attempt to make the fire truck from Gatto I am not deliberately making any disparity remarks.
I thought I would put in a post on my thoughts so far in case there was anyone thinking of getting a set of plans from this company over all they have been good to deal with :)
