And I'll be wearing my forum shirt (just in case someone else has a shirt that says FunkyChicken, look for the timber sticking out of my backpack)

Pleased to report
Andrew arrived safely last evening, the coach station arrangement was cancelled at the last moment and his family drove down and brought ~Andrew in.

So picture of proof requested is now posted.

Andrew brought a gift of Brush box, and Iron bark which later today we intend making a box.

So the next day we got out to the workshop at 8am and the young man I reckon managed to get his hands on every bit of machinery lying around. :)

So he wanted to make a box, and a 23" length of American Ash 3"x 15mm was located together with some Black Walnut and a series of pictures describes the story.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v330/devonwoody/2nd%20album/3rd%20album/5w-4.jpg

And by 12.45 am I thought we might finish before lunch break :)

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v330/devonwoody/2nd%20album/3rd%20album/6w-3.jpg

However the lid slowed us down and Andrew took a break to do some turning.
