Hey Jude,
I feel that you must be a lady of great compassion and of an amazing forgivingness to
let the Poooobah off so lightly..... mind you he is a somewhat pathetic character !!!
I DO have a slight problem that you may wish to assist with .... I have this wobbly
wardrobe and a buckled bed base which I need to repair........................

Well, doorstop, I guess I must be compassionate if that's what Poohbah is like....he
really needs it if he's such a person. Is he related to Poohbear by any chance?
(Getting red ears Poohbah? )
Well, I can give you plenty of sympathy with wobbly wardrobes and buckled bed
bases....is that the sort of assistance you needed? And you didn't mention whether it
was a water bed, is that what makes it buckled?
The wardrobe could do with a bit of cardboard stuck under one leg.

Gee, I'm getting as bad as the others, sorry doorstop!

as always, glad to be of help
(hey!) Jude

Dearest Judy.... oops I mean "Hey Jude", thank you for your sympathy .... I really
appreciate it ..... but unfortunately after sticking a piece of cardboard under the leg
of my wardrobe it seems to be woblierer than it was before ,and I have watered my
bed but it didn't unbend and my wife complained that she was getting cold..... and we
can't have a cold wife now can we !!!

You are more than welcome doorstop!
Mmm....well have you thought of cutting the legs off (not yours!) the wardrobe altogether. That's still classed as woodwork.
As for the bed, well it sounds like you're talking about a bed of flowers, what with watering it 'n all....no wonder your wife is cold, she's out in the garden!
