Could someone help me with a Number 1 drive spur ,I am going to slip it into a no 2 reducer so I can use it in the lathe without constantly removing the Vicmarc chuck.
With pay postage and handling.Look forward to some advice or replies.
Thank you.

Why not give a Steb-style drive (http://www.carbatec.com.au/woodturning-tools/drive-spurs-live-centres/carba-tec-drive-centres/carba-tec-steb-style-drive-centre) centre a try or just cut a groove at the top of the taper of your current drive. The Vicmark jaws grab the drive in the groove perfectly :2tsup: so you don't have to take the chuck off at all - - - - - - - - - until you get another chuck - - - - - - - - - and vacuum chucks - - - - - - - - and another chuck - - - - - - -

:B I've only got 3 - Cliff's the man! :;

Or: Teknatool make a small drive spur that fits their chucks ... might be worth asking how they'd go in VM chucks.

They do fit on the VM chucks just not as much coverage in the ring part as the nova chucks.

Will do the job as long as it was not a big heavy peice.
