Intarsia used 43 pieces. Aspen, Cherry and Black Walnut for the ears. Hickory for the forehead with Cedar inlays. Black Walnut and Cherry for the eyes. Hickory and Aspen for the cheeks. Black Walnut for the nose and nostrils along with Cedar. The neck is Cherry and Red Mahogany. Finished with Tung Oil.
