Have a look here at making 1/2" box joints.

Box joints (http://www.routerforums.com/show-n-tell/6978-incra-ultra-how-box-joints-other-stuff.html)

Use a 5/16" bit.
After you have set your depth of cut and set your bit flush with the fence, you would start with the template at a setting of zero under the cursor, then move the fence to the 5/16" position, now move the template back to the zero position.
Do not move the template again.
Move the jig in increments of 5/8" for each cut.
For the mating piece start with the fence at 5/16" then move in increments of 5/8".

Hope this helps. :D

If you have a pair of templates, work out the difference in the spacing. Draw one out for 5/8" in MS Word. Print it and cover both sides in tape of sticky backed plastic and use it.
