I have 2 router bit sets with all the usual ones in it. Yesterday I was testing all the bits and creating my own picture frames for the wife's stained glass projects. My question is: where can I get info on what the correct purpose of each router bit is for. If I knew I would be a better more informed novice. Is there a book or on-line website that can help?

MLCS (http://www.mlcswoodworking.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/smarthtml/pages/instruct.html#product_manuals_anchor) (US) has a website with a wealth of information on router bits, everything you ever wanted to know but were afraid to ask.

Most of the bits listed there are available from local suppliers such as Carbitool, McJing etc.
