Needed some 16. 19 and 25mm long thread screws (6g) yesterday. Went to Bunnies roughly $5 per 100. As I needed 300 of each that started to add up a bit, $45 for 900 screws? Went to the local Bolts and Fastener place, cost me $13.98 for 900 screws, they weigh them out for you. Bit of a difference.

Years ago, the small nuts and bolts suppliers were going out the back door. but thanks to Bunnings they are back in the game. Our local one one has never not had what I wanted regardless of what thread and what it came off. They are tonnes cheaper too.

A good tip here on the Gold Coast, maybe elsewhere too, is to follow the tradies, providing the store is not bunging on a retail surcharge I think you will be a lot better off.

Be like me and put " Bunnings on a price watch."
