Sorry about the lack of wood working - but does anyone know anything about setting Gyprock joints especially corners?

On another note was walking past the TV last night and the news was on showing the 2000 Australian of the Year now is it just me or does Gustav Nossal look like Sir Les Paterson!!!! ( at least it wasn't a sports person )

thanks doorstop - currently lining a couple of bedrooms and I want to square set all corners. Reading as much info as I can get my hands on and they all seem to say the best way to set corners is to apply a base coat with imbedded tape than apply a thin top coat finish. The tape coat is no problem but the only way I can get a reasonable finish is to apply what I think is a thick top coat - just worried that this thick coat may be more prone to cracking ?
