Here is my shallow dish, aka my Frisbee for the fly off.:2tsup::D
With thanks for help and coaching from . :cool:
Not to such what the timber is 'cause it was retrieved from Mathews Timber off cut bin. And they did tell me what it was, but it was with a hole pile of stuff. I think Its Black Butt.:shrug: "twas hard and heavy. Did not look promising grain wise from the outside, but I decided to go for pale and interesting.:cool: It is 24 cn wide, about 3 cm high. Sanded to 400#, EEEed and Shellawaxed.

Very handsome flying machine, TL. Best of luck in the competition. I suppose you could still use it as a platter.:rolleyes:

Nice platter (I mean frisbee)
I thought to enter the flyoff it had to be flung off the lathe:D
If it doesn't fly too well, fling it up here, I'm sure I could find a use for it!:;

Line up the lathes. 's got a hundred or so.:rolleyes: Rechuck them on the day, (badly of course to aid launching:D) And all switch on at the same time.:cool:

Very nice plate, T.L. Looks to be a smooth, continuous curve. Easier said than done.
